Church of the Covenant
Did you know that the largest intact collection of Tiffany stained-glass church windows in the world is right here in Boston? You’ll find all 42 of them in the heart of the Back Bay, at the Church of the Covenant, which is celebrating its milestone 150th anniversary of its building this fall.
Enjoy these spectacular windows in style at Breakfast With Tiffany’s, your unique chance to drink mimosas (in church!) and relax as you watch the autumn morning sunshine stream into this one-of-a-kind artwork.
It’s not just windows, either – front and center at the event is a 6 x 12 foot Tiffany chandelier that was a hit at Chicago’s 1893 Columbian Exposition. It’s the largest of any lamp that Tiffany created, and it’s truly spectacular.
Although the Church of the Covenant is committed to a wide-ranging social justice mission – including the housing of the Women’s Lunch Place in our lower level – funds raised at this unique event will go to the Covenant Boston Preservation Project, a 501(c)(3) organization committed solely to restoring this priceless Boston treasure and sharing it with the public. Your support of historic preservation today can give these windows – and the entire Tiffany-designed interior – a bright future!
Attendees at the event will enjoy:
- A delicious ethically-catered breakfast
- Specialty coffee and mimosa bar
- Guided tours by Tiffany window scholar and art historian Charlene James
- Live music
- Silent auction with many one-of-a-kind items and experiences on tap
- Photography tutorials – get the perfect photo to share with friends and family!
Best of all is the chance to savor a hidden gem that many Bostonians do not even know about! You’ll have the chance to relax and appreciate the largest, most complex, and most intact Tiffany interior in America – and your support will help maintain the beauty of this unique National Historic Landmark.
