Date(s) - 02/24/2017
7:30 am to 9:30 am
Seaport World Trade Center
Note: This event was originally scheduled for February 9. Due to the blizzard, the event is rescheduled for February 24.
On February 24, please join the UMass Boston Center for Collaborative Leadership as we recognize legendary community activist Mel King at the Fifth Annual Building a Better Boston Award Ceremony. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing the region through their work as conveners and collaborators. We are pleased to be joined by special guest speakers, Tony Richards from Governor Baker’s office, City of Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh, UMass President Marty Meehan, and UMass Boston Chancellor Keith Motley.
The Center for Collaborative Leadership, although housed at the College of Management within the University of Massachusetts Boston, is a self-funded organization. Proceeds from this event assist us in our mission to challenge and inspire you to act collaboratively, identify and rethink boundaries, build purposeful relationships, and be a better citizen and leader.
