Communities United, Inc. (CUI) today announces its 2016 Innovation Day Challenge fundraising activities to increase community support for its Creative Start Children’s Centers in the greater Boston area. On April 1, Innovation Day will bring together 300 local Pre-K students and 100 creative and analytical volunteer mentors to work together on STEM-based projects fostering innovative thinking.

On April 11th, we will  recognize the winners of the Innovation Day Challenge by providing an  Innovation Day Gala hosted at the Constant Contact facility in Waltham, MA featuring special guest, news anchor Ed Harding, of WCVB Channel 5. The Innovation Day Gala will recognize the winners from the Innovation Day Challenge as well as provide attendees with opportunities to learn more about the STEM education taught in the centers.

Please join us for a fabulous night of silent and live auctions, food and open bar from local restaurants, book signing by a local children’s author and a video presentation from Gigi Luk from Harvard’s School of Education. Registration and event information can be found here.
