Friday, June 24, 2016 – Rum & Brew Tasting @ Boston JerkFest

The 4th Annual Rum & Brew Tasting @ Boston JerkFest will take place on Friday, June 24th 2016,  6:00-9:30pm.  The Rum & Brew Tasting is for 21+ festival attendees and features live music and unlimited sample tastings of local and international rum, other spirits, craft beer, artisan brews, and a variety of Caribbean themed libations. Jerk hot food bites will be for sale and spicy snack samples will be offered. Of course, we can’t have tropical drinks without coconuts, so there will be plenty on hand for sale.

The Rum & Brew Tasting will include Cocktail Demos featuring vendors who will stir up the best “Irie” drinks made from products featured at the Rum & Brew Tasting. We’ve also introduced a Caribbean Cocktail Throwdown with some of Boston’s hottest Mixologists.

Tickets are $55 in advance. 2-day passes are $70. VIP Tickets available for 2-day passes for $100.

The 4th Annual Boston JerkFest is Boston’s hottest summer festival. This out-door/in-door family-friendly Caribbean style foodie festival features Jamaican jerk hot spiced food and spicy foods . Located in the South End and home of the city’s foodie epicenter for two sessions: 11am-3pm and 4-8pm. At the festival top local Caribbean Chefs will sell authentic jerk-spiced foods and traditional Caribbean home-made beverages for sale. A Spice Lane will have specialty foods such as: spicy jams, hot sauces, chutneys, spices and spicy desserts for sale. The festival offers live music featuring reggae and steel band music. Chef demos throughout includes a Seafood Throwdown (Session 1) and a Jerk Cook-Off (Session 2). The Reggae Bar will have tropical cocktails, spirits, craft beer wine for sale. Ethnic arts and crafts will also be for sale by local and regional vendors. The Kids Zone with have hands-on interactive arts and crafts and activities for children of all ages.

Tickets are $20 in advance for adults and $5 for children 5-12. Free for children under 5. 2-day passes available for $70. VIP Tickets available for 2-day passes for $100
