Holiday planning has begun! On Thanksgiving Day, LBFE and the Hyatt Harborside Hotel in East Boston will be hosting a dinner party for 140 of our elder friends and delivering hot meals to our elder friends all over the city of Boston!
Volunteers are needed for:
Driving 2-3 elders to the party at the Hyatt (enjoy lunch and music from the DJ)
Delivering meals to our elder friends on Thanksgiving morning (meal packages can be picked up at Northeastern University)
Working in-house on Thanksgiving Day to assist holiday visitors assemble their packages (these spots fill quickly!)

We could still use your help if you are not available to volunteer on Thanksgiving Day! Help us prepare for the festivities by calling elders to remind them about the party and visits. You can come to our office in Jamaica Plain on the following days:
Saturday, November 19th (10 am – 3 pm)
Sunday, November 20th (12 pm – 3 pm)
Monday, November 21st (9 am – 7 pm)
Tuesday, November 22nd (9 am – 7 pm)
