The Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless will host the Dream Big! Gala to benefit its A Bed for Every Child Initiative on Wednesday, May 17 at Hotel Commonwealth Boston from 6-9 pm. New England Patriots’ Devin McCourty will join the Coalition as keynote speaker and WCVB TV’s Bob Halloran will emcee a lively auction filled with Boston sports tickets and memorabilia. They are excited to be part of the Gala and help to make it a huge success so that more children throughout our state can DREAM BIG in a new bed of their own.
For the past four years, A Bed for Every Child Initiative has been working to ensure children throughout Massachusetts have a bed of their own. To date we’re provided more than 4000 beds to children in need! But sadly there are many corridors of poverty throughout the state where children still do not have a bed in which to sleep.
I hope you will join us for the Dream Big! Gala or participate in our online auction opening on May 10th. We strongly believe with your help we can ensure that thousands of school aged children across Massachusetts come to school rested and ready to learn so they have a better chance of graduating from high school and breaking the cycle of poverty.
