FriendshipWorks is a non-profit organization with programs that aim to reduce isolation and provide friendly support and assistance to the elders we serve in the Boston area, including one-on-one friendly visits, medical escorts, and friendly pet visits.
FriendshipWalks is our second Annual Walk-a-Thon! We had so much fun last year that we decided to do it again. Our ambitious goal is to raise $100,000 to support our programs, and we can’t do it without YOU. Walk with a friend, make a new one; form a team; walk in honor or memory of an elder in your life; dedicate the walk to an important friendship.
FriendshipWalks promotes the importance of neighborly connections, the value of friendship, and the role of walking in the health and well-being of young and old alike.
