Join us Saturday, October 14th, for the 2nd Annual United Way 5K. This Run/Walk begins and ends at the United Way of Tri-County, 46 Park Street/Framingham. The 3.1 mile chip timed course is fully supported with water stops and route support. Participants of all levels are welcome to join us for this fun event supporting the community.
Start time is 9:00 am and runners and walkers can register online at http://www.uwotc.org/5k. All participants to register will receive a long-sleeve race shirt and goodie bag. Cash prizes for top male and female runners in eight age categories will be awarded as well as top fundraising team and individual. Money raised will benefit three critical United Way programs including the Pearl Street Cupboard and Café and Marlborough Community Cupboard, Ready to Read early literacy program, and Call2Talk, the statewide mental health/suicide prevention call line. A DJ will be spinning great tunes and raffle tickets will be available for the chance to win over $1,000 worth of raffle prizes.
