Party for PYD is a centerpiece event for PYD dedicated to raising program funds and awareness of mentoring and celebrating our successes and partnerships with you. The event includes live and silent auctions, hors-d’oeuvres, refreshments, and entertainment.
Honorees: We celebrate Legends Honorees for their strategic leadership and commitment to mentoring and inclusion of young people with disabilities. This year we’re joyful to honor
1) Steve Puzzo, Partner in Mergers & Acquisitions Tax at PwC, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of PYD going on six years, and father of a child with a disability.
2) Vibhu Sharma, Co-Chair, Leadership & Mentoring Taskforce UNICEF Global Partnership for Children with Disabilities & Youth Disability Rights Coordinator, Commonwealth Youth Human Rights and Democracy Network.
3) State Street Disability Awareness Alliance, for their innovative and passionate work that brings together the corporate world, people with disabilities and non-profit organizations to bridge the gap in ensuring young leaders with disabilities become members of the workforce.
