The Federation’s annual fundraiser, Celebrating Every Child, will be held at the Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston on Friday May 18, 2018, with a special “Kentucky Derby” theme. The event will celebrate the organization’s many accomplishments, with a goal of raising $200,000 to support our work.

We will begin the evening with a Silent Auction and reception, followed by dinner, entertainment, and a ceremony to recognize an outstanding group of honorees. The Martha Zeigler Founders Award, to honor those who continue Martha’s vision to educate, advocate, and inspire, will be presented to David and Margot Wizansky. David and Margot founded Specialized Housing, an organization that creates supportive housing opportunities for adults with disabilities in condominiums and apartments. Our President’s Award will be presented to Ron Benham, Director of the Bureau of Family Health and Nutrition at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and the Patricia Blake Advocacy Award will be presented to comedian, parent advocate, and FCSN alumnus Bethany Van Delft, whose personal testimony about being the mother of a child with Down syndrome touched thousands across the country. Award-winning reporter and friend Susan Wornick will lend her talent as our emcee.
