Samaritans is a local nonprofit dedicated to reducing the risk of suicide in Massachusetts.
All proceeds from our 20th Annual 5k help fund Samaritans’ life saving services, including our 24/7 text & phone Helpline, Community Education and Outreach, and Grief Support Services for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. These vital services are available to families, friends, and neighbors, free of charge. Samaritans answers calls from Greater Boston, MetroWest, our statewide toll-free number, and MA calls to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
