Before diving into a big plate of turkey and gravy, runners from across Boston will grab their sneakers early Thanksgiving morning. The highly anticipated annual Boston Volvo 5K Road Race benefits the New England Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, which supports nearly 21,000 New Englanders living with MS.
Boston Volvo has sponsored this popular turkey trot for more than 20 years, drawing in nearly 1,000 runners of all skill levels each year. The race kicks off at Boston Volvo, winding through the streets of Brighton and Allston back to the dealership.
Registration is $35 online through 5:00pm on Monday, November 19th, or $40 on-site at the event. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers, and the first 700 people to register will receive a free race T-shirt! To register, please visit www.nationalmssociety.org/volvo5k.
