Disney Animation Producer Dorothy McKim Hosts Exclusive Meet and Greet for Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts
40-Year Veteran of Disney Animation Gives Girl Scouts an Inside Look at Art and Science of Disney Animation before Public Opening of Disney Animation: Immersive Experience
Who: Dorothy McKim, producer, creative legacy at Walt Disney Animation Studios and Oscar nominee
What: In collaboration with Lighthouse Immersive and Walt Disney Animation Studios, the soon-to-be opened Disney Animation: Immersive Experience is offering an exclusive meet and greet with Disney Animation producer and Oscar nominee Dorothy McKim, to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts.
Prior to the public opening, Dorothy will give the Girl Scouts a brief tour of the educational displays and installations in the venue, which discuss the art and science of animation, and will then show the troop the projections. Following the 50-minute show, Dorothy will conduct a brief Q&A.
McKim, who has worked on a variety of Disney animated classics in her almost 40 years at the company, will share special insights and experiences about her time developing the beloved characters and worlds of Disney Animation.
