The Home for Little Wanderers is the nation’s oldest child welfare organization and offers more than 30 programs that help keep children in their homes, provide support in returning to their homes, or assist them in finding and transitioning to a new home. They offer foster care and adoption, behavioral health, clinical services, special education schools, residential care, and young adult programs.

Last year, The Home for Little Wanderers provided more than 2,100 gift cards and essential items to children and families and fulfilled more than 3,000 holiday wishes for children and teens in at-risk

The holidays can be an especially stressful time for families, especially considering that this time of year comes with heating bills, winter clothing expenses, and gifts. Providing toys, essential items, and clothing is an act of kindness that provides a foundation for positive experiences and bonding that builds resiliency for kids and families.
