Help heal the Invisible Wounds of War by crossing home plate at Fenway Park!

The 2015 Run to Home Base presented by New Balance is a 9K run and 2 mile walk fundraising event scheduled for July 25, 2015. All funds raised benefit the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program. The Home Base Program is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war for post 9/11 veterans and their families.

The two options allow you to Run or Walk through scenic Boston, ending with an unforgettable experience of crossing “home base” (plate) at historic Fenway Park. Friends and family can cheer you on from the stands at Fenway, with food, entertainment and family fun activities in the concourses of America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.

Exciting new changes to this year’s Run to Home Base include:

  • Great fundraising incentives for all participants featuring Red Sox tickets and more!
  • Refer a Friend Program rewards you for recruiting friends and family to join you on race day.
  • Is this your 5th year participating in this event?!  If so, you will receive special recognition at the event including a 5-year medal.
  • Not available to run or walk in the event but still want to help?  Consider hosting a “virtual runner party” with you and your family, friends and co-workers!  Learn more how you can help veterans and their families.
