Grab your sneakers! It’s the Walk/Run for Adoption benefiting the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE).
MARE finds adoptive homes for children and teens in foster care who are in need of permanent families. Join us at Jordan’s Furniture in Taunton on Sunday May 20 as we raise awareness of adoption from foster care and raise funds to support MARE. The day is a 5K followed by an after-party with glitter tattoos, face painting, balloon artistry, a parkour challenge course, arts & crafts, a family photo booth, and more. It is extremely family-friendly and designed with kids in mind. The one-time registration fee includes all the day’s activities as well as breakfast and lunch and a t-shirt. This is a peer-to-peer fundraising event, meaning that participants can choose to fundraise for MARE by soliciting donations which add to the event total. All funds go directly to MARE thanks to the generosity of Jordan’s Furniture and our sponsors.
