Boston Area Rape Crisis Center’s 10th Annual Walk for Change

Location: DCR’s Artestani Park, 1255 Soldiers Field Road, Brighton

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

PLEASE NOTE: The parking lot adjacent to Artesani Park will be closed to all traffic, with the exception of those needing accessible parking.

Public Transportation: Continuous shuttle service, including an ADA bus, will be provided from MBTA Central Square T Station (Red Line).

Free Parking: Stay tuned for further details, maps, etc.


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
8:00 a.m. Parking lots open & shuttle service begins

8:30 a.m. Registration Opens & Festivities Begin
We’ll have all kinds of fun and entertainment for you…
Complimentary bagels, fruit, coffee, tea & snacks.
Music, face painting, sign making, arts & crafts, team photos, and more!
Clothesline Project Display
AND MORE!

9:30 a.m. Walk Kick-Off Begins
Welcome – Kennedy Elsey (Mix 104.1 FM)
Beacon Award Presentation

10:00 a.m. Walk Begins
2.5 mile loop along the Charles River

11:00 a.m. Post-Event Celebration
Continued food, music, activities, team photos and more! Food Truck Service Begins (A portion of the proceeds will benefit BARCC)

2:00 p.m. Last shuttles depart Artesani Park WHAT TO WEAR
It will be mid-April in New England, so be sure to dress in layers. It’ll be cooler in the morning but then warm and sunny as you Walk and hang out afterwards for the post-event celebration. You should also wear comfortable shoes.

FOOD, WATER & RESTROOMS
Bagels, bread, fruit, and other items will be available
Bottled water and restrooms will be available at Artesani Park
