For two nights only, art, science, and technology converge to tell the story of how the human brain constructs its own realities.

The People’s Science is hosting a highly interactive pop-up art show and science exhibit to immerse the audience in the biases we carry with us every day. From optical illusions to the power of framing to the allure of social media, guests will see themselves and their communities from a new perspective.

The event is a collaboration between leaders, creators, and change agents across fields:

• 18 established and emerging East Coast artists, curated by local gallery owner Abigail Ogilvy, will be featured alongside cutting-edge evidence from neuroscience and psychology research.

• Local technology developer, Sonzia, will offer stunning touch screen exhibits that invite the audience to interact directly with the show.

• Physiophysicist, Dr. Choukri Mekkaoui, will showcase his award-winning method for merging fine art with the fiber tracts of the human brain.

• World-renowned social psychologist, Dr. Mahzarin Banaji, will offer signed copies of her co-authored book, “Blindspot: Hidden Biases of Good People”.

The ticket cost includes access to two bars featuring Aeronaut beer and KRIS wines, as well as a full meal from the PennyPacker’s Fine Food Truck. A silent auction and art print sale will also be available.

All proceeds from this event directly benefit The People’s Science, a (501)c3 educational non-profit.
