ABOUT: One Can Help

One Can Help helps vulnerable children and families with timely, targeted assistance when no other resources are available. Whether it is a laptop for a teen who has no other way to do schoolwork, an after-school activity for a child who needs more supervision, a bus pass so a struggling parent can find a job, or a month’s rent to keep a family from eviction, our assistance improves lives, keeps more families together and helps our juvenile court and child welfare systems be more supportive and effective.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Ayanna Pressley

Ayanna Pressley’s career has been marked by history-making campaigns and a relentless determination to advance a policy agenda focused on girls and women, breaking cycles of poverty and all forms of violence, and reducing trauma in our communities. Pressley was first elected to the Boston City Council in 2009, becoming the first woman of color ever to do so. Pressley is an Aspen-Rodel Fellow in Public Leadership (2012).
