Discover your inner chocovorus! Come learn about how chocolate is made and the intricacies of fine flavor cacao. Taste six dark chocolates in a guided, blind sampling. The types of chocolate will be revealed at the end. We will sample a range of different chocolates and explore chocolate’s many flavor nuances. Chocolate samples, tasting sheets and guides, flavor wheels, and palette cleansers will be provided. Bring a pencil, reading glasses if you need them, an open mind, and a semi-empty belly. Kindly refrain from using perfume or cologne. Wearing brown is encouraged.

Kymberlee Keckler is a chemical engineer for EPA and a long-time Mudflat potter. In 2012, she started Filthy Rich Chocolates to create bonbons and confections with the very best flavor. Kymberlee received her training as a professional chocolatier through Ecole Chocolat in Vancouver, BC, where she graduated with honors in November 2012. She has also trained at Valrhona’s Ecole du Grand Chocolat in Tain L’Hermitage, France, at ICAM in Lecco, Italy, and at Barry Callebaut’s Chocolate Acadamy in Wieze, Belgium.
