Room to Grow is hosting its annual signature Fall Benefit on Saturday, November 4th at 7:00pm at The Aloft Boston Seaport. The 80s-themed event, Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now, will raise critical funds needed to unlock the potential of more babies in Boston who are being raised in poverty. The festive party will feature dancing to 80s classics, retro gaming, abundant food stations, and a brief presentation that will honor Tiara Murphy, a mother in Room to Grow’s three year, comprehensive program. Tiara will share her experience in the program, the ways it has helped her family, and her hopes and dreams for her son, Alijah.

Fall Benefit tickets are $300 per person and must be purchased in advance.  For more information visit http://roomtogrow.org/boston-fall-benefit or call 617.859.4545.

About Room to Grow

Room to Grow, a nonprofit organization, is focused on ensuring babies born into poverty have everything they need to learn, grow and succeed in life. The comprehensive program provides families with a unique combination of one-on-one parenting education, referrals to other community services as well as all the clothes, toys, books and gear their babies need at every stage during their first three years of development. Room to Grow is unlike any other program in Boston. Families participating in the three-year program visit Room to Grow’s warm and inviting space every three months for two-hour visits with a dedicated social worker focused on their family’s individual needs and challenges. By focusing on the babies as well as their parents, Room to Grow’s high-touch program has a meaningful and sustained impact. Room to Grow was founded in 1998 in New York and has been operating in Boston for more than ten years.
