The walk will begin and end at the The Park on Bartlet Street this year.
WHEN:
Sunday, October 2, 2016. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 1:00 p.m.
WHAT:
Gather family, friends, co-workers, church groups and anyone else who would like to “Fight Poverty One Step at a Time.” The walk includes a 3-mile loop around the picturesque town of Andover. Throughout the day participants enjoy music, entertainment and a barbecue cookout at the end.
WHY:
Lazarus House Ministries helps head of households and individuals living in poverty regain their dignity and become self-sufficient members of our community by offering emergency shelter, food and clothing to people in crisis and then providing transitional housing, advocacy, education and work preparation.
