LeadBoston Applications Due November 10th for the 2018 Cohort
LeadBoston, a program of YW Boston, is an 11-month experiential education program focused on the inner workings of Boston, trends and issues that impact the city’s social and economic vitality, and socially responsible leadership. In addition to strengthening leadership skills, participants have the opportunity to build their network, advance social responsibility, and improve diversity and inclusion within their organization and the greater Boston area.
A sample of participating organizations include:
- Public Sector: Boston Public Schools, Boston Police Dpt.
- Private Sector: Eastern Bank, Saylent Technology, Holland & Knight, Boston Scientific
- Higher ed,: MIT, Tufts, Bunker Hill Community College
- Non-profit sector: Pine Street Inn, NAACP, Teach for America
Strong applicants typically have 15+ years of work experience or hold a leadership role in their organization. Applications for the 2018 cohort close November 10th.
