Join Cambridge-Somerville Black Business Network, Cambridge Local First, Sustainable Business Network of MA and American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA) for Shop Black Owned Month! During the month of February 2023. This campaign promotes and highlights local Black-owned businesses in Cambridge and Somerville. The campaign will kick off with our 4th Passport to Black-Owned Business event, which will span over 2 days, February 9 and 10, 2023 at the Smith Center of Harvard University in Harvard Square from 11:30am – 6pm. This event is timed just before Valentine’s day and local Black-owned businesses will be offering gift items, including clothing, jewelry, artisan soaps, vegan gift treats, books, and more for sale. A digital Passport directory will be available to promote Black-owned business vendors throughout the month

Our Shop Black-Owned campaign is part of a national campaign and aims to increase spending at Black-owned businesses with priority for Cambridge and Somerville. Together, we urge our communities to take positive action and boost the ripple effects our neighborhoods, towns, and cities receive when we spend and invest more of our dollars at Black-owned businesses.

Come help support Black-owned businesses during Shop Black-Owned Month in February. For more information, visit Cambridge-Somerville Black Business Network and Shop Black-Owned Month.
