Village Automotive Group’s flagship store, Boston Volvo Village of Allston-Brighton, is partnering with several local animal shelters and rescues for a one-day pet adoption event on Sunday, June 11th from 1pm – 4pm. The event will feature puppy and adult dog adoption opportunities from participating organizations including but not limited to Last Hope K9 Rescue, Mass Coalition to End Puppy Mills, and Buddy Dog Humane Society, Inc.. Other pets that will be on-site and available for adoption include cats, reptiles and birds.
The event is open to the public and Boston Volvo will have burgers and hot dogs on the grill for pet-loving attendees to enjoy. Additionally, in the weeks leading up to the event, Volvo is accepting donations for the participating shelters and rescues. Their goal is to fill an XC90 with donations such as dog food, cat food, treats, leashes, etc.
Those who are interested in adopting are encouraged to begin the adoption process prior to the event by filling out all required paperwork from the specific shelter.
