BECOME A SUPERHERO TO HOMELESS CHILDREN!
Horizons needs volunteers throughout the Boston Metro area to make a difference in the lives of children living in family homeless shelters. By volunteering each week to play children who otherwise wouldn’t have this opportunity, you’ll become their superhero.
Volunteer with homeless children at a Horizons Playspace installed in one of more than 90 family shelters state-wide including in Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, Jamaica Plain, Newton, Brighton, Charlestown, East Boston, Fenway, Somerville, and Cambridge. An initial training and a commitment of two hours a week for six months are required.
Upcoming volunteer training:
Thurday, February 15
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Roxbury, MA
