Down the Road Beer Co. is throwing a Beer Release Party to benefit Project Bread and launch our limited-release new brew, Banana Bread Ale!
We’ll be donating 30% of sales from our taproom tonight and 20% of sales from our new Banana Bread Ale – made with locally-baked bread! – to help Project Bread open 10 new Summer Eats sites in MA. Summer Eats sites provide free meals for kids and teens during summer vacation.
Summer is the best time to be a kid, but as soon as summer vacation hits, children across the state who rely on school meals wake up not knowing where their next breakfast or lunch will come from.
Last year, Summer Eats served 58,000 meals to kids and teens across the state every day. Help us open 10 new locations this summer so that we can serve an additional 15,000 meals! More Summer Meal sites means less summer hunger and more summer fun – how summer should be.
We’ll have Oath Pizza, some great raffle prizes, and Dazed & Confused showing on the big screen! Kick back with some beers to support Project Bread and raise a glass to giving Massachusetts kids a hunger-free summer! Cheers!
