Join the UMass Boston Center for Collaborative Leadership on June 8th at the Seaport Hotel for Raising OUR Voices Together for Change — a dialogue among leading activists who are addressing issues that many businesses and communities are grappling with today in the quest to be inclusive, fair, and progressive, including racism, gender pay inequality, and LGBTQ rights.

Collaborative leadership is about hearing all voices with respect for diversity of thought. There is a crisis of leadership when diverse voices are not heard, and the crisis is evident in the protests that are happening all across America. This event features those who have harnessed their passion and commitment to raise their voice about the causes they believe in. Each will talk about what compelled them to step into leadership, how they found their leadership voice, and how they’ve worked to engage others to enact change.

Natasha Lamb of Arjuna Capital, and Diego Sanchez of PFLAG National will share the actions they are taking to address gender pay inequality, and LBGTQ rights, and offer thoughts on how you can raise your voice. The panel moderator is Shirley Leung of The Boston Globe. Click here for additional information about this phenomenal group of advocates and activists.

This event celebrates the graduation of the Emerging Leaders Program fellows, class of 2018.
