Room to Grow is a nonprofit based in Boston that focuses on ensuring babies born into poverty have everything they need to learn, grow and succeed in life. The comprehensive program provides families with a unique combination of one-on-one parenting education, referrals to other community services as well as all the clothes, toys, books and gear their babies need at every stage during their first three years of development.
Room to Grow is holding a Spring Cleaning Drive on Saturday, April 29. We are asking people in the community to drop off bags of gently used items appropriate for infants and toddlers on that day at three different locations (South End, Brookline and Wellesley). Our goal is to collect enough items to equip 150 of the babies in our program with all the clothes, books, toys, and gear they need for healthy growth.
