The Rose Garden Party is an elegant evening social event which raises money for free participatory and performing arts events and workshops throughout Boston’s park system. Mayor Martin J. Walsh and Ms. Lorrie Higgins serve as Honorary Event Co-Chairs of the Rose Garden Committee, which is comprised of arts institution directors, business leaders, university presidents, and supporters of children’s enrichment programming and the arts in our community. The fundraising event features live entertainment with a spirited, creative hat contest in a garden party setting, live and silent auction, en plein air painting demonstration, passed hors d’oeuvres, buffet, and more.
