LUNGstrong and The Lung Cancer Alliance are excited to be teaming up once again for the 2017 Shine a Light on Lung Cancer – Boston, where we will shine brighter than ever before!!

This year’s event will take place on Thursday, November 9th, in the Huntington Arcade at the Prudential Center. We will kick off the evening with a Survivor Reception starting at 6:00 pm, an Informational Fair/General Reception at 6:30 pm, and the formal program beginning at 7:30 pm.

We have an exciting line up of speakers this year, including Adam Klein, winner of CBS’s 2016 Survivor Millennials vs Gen X, who will share his story of filming the show amidst his mother’s battle with Stage 4 Lung Cancer and losing her two days after taping concluded. Dr. Mark Awad, of the Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, will share his insights about lung cancer, the leading cause of cancer death. Vanessa Welch, Co-Anchor of the Fox Evening News, will serve as our Emcee for the event, and Ryan Allen, Punter for the New England Patriots, will flip the switch and turn the Prudential Center Tower blue in honor of all those whose lives have been impacted by lung cancer.

Join us on November 9th where we will shine our lights brighter than ever before during Lung Cancer Awareness Month!
