Five billion people around the world lack access to basic surgical care. The new permanent surgical program at St. Boniface Hospital means that the people of Southern Haiti are no longer part of that statistic. From c-sections to appendix removals and beyond, access to routine and emergency surgery saves lives every day. At our 2016 gala we will celebrate the opening of the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation’s new surgical center and the hope it holds for the people of Southern Haiti.
