A Taste of Grandma s Kitchen Charity Culinary Experience
Across cultures and generations, food remains an important catalyst to create connections. Families gather over meals to celebrate holidays, friends share dinners and bonding over food is an excellent ice breaker when meeting new people. Food is a topic of conversation and connecting over a delicious meal is a source of joy around the world.
Sharing the joy of food inspires the theme of our event this year. Celebrating the diverse culinary traditions of the elders that we serve, we are offering A Taste of Grandma’s Kitchen, highlighting favorite recipes from our elders and local Boston chefs whose joy of cooking is inspired by their grandparents and parents.
We will feature small bites during the evening, and compile all contributed recipes in the program book for attendees to try at home. These family recipes will showcase the love of cooking shared across generations.
