On December 4, 2017 the Terry’s Foundation for Muscular Dystrophy, in support of Boston Children’s Hospital, is hosting a winter gala with over 200 influential thought leaders in academia and industry to raise money for the Kunkel Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital. The Kunkel Lab focuses research on understanding and combating muscular dystrophy – a disease that impacts over 100,000 people in the US and causes progressive muscle deterioration. Terry’s Foundation for Muscular Dystrophy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and was founded with the sole purpose to end muscular dystrophy. The foundation realizes this mission by raising awareness for the disease and by supporting the ground-breaking research efforts to find a cure for this disease.
Your support is crucial to our efforts to finding a cure to muscular dystrophy and you can help us make this gala successful.
If you’re able, we’d love it if you could attend our event or donate to the cause on our website: https://www.terrysfoundationformd.org/donate. All donations and proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the Boston Children’s Hospital and will go towards supporting researchers, lab materials and processing costs related to their research.
It means the world to the people’s lives threatened by this disease and to me as well. Your kindness will go a long way towards helping us to fight back, find a cure and save our loved ones.
