In 2013 the Garden’s Trillium Collection was recognized as a Nationally Accredited Plant Collection by the American Public Gardens Association’s Plant Collections Network. This year, please join us in celebrating the beauty and variety of trilliums during a week-long affair at Garden in the Woods. Take a Trillium Tour with our horticultural experts; join us for a lecture by William Cullina, Executive Director of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens; and attend one of our trillium demonstrations. Or simply stroll through the Garden on your own and enjoy the largest collection of trilliums north of Delaware during their peak flowering time. Society-grown trilliums are available for purchase on site. Children can learn about the genus Trillium and make crafts at our Story Time and Musical Play Hour.
