Neighborhood Partners for the Hurley School’s (NPHS) is proud to host Tropicaliente for the 13th year. It is the biggest annual fundraiser covering around 80% of our annual budget. Your support is critical and all of the money raised from Tropi goes directly back to support the Hurley School, an inner-city bilingual K-8 Boston Public School located in the South End where 70% of our students enrolled come from economically disadvantaged families. Despite that challenge, the Hurley proudly remains a Tier 1 school.

Club ¡Tropicaliente! is our largest event that raises funds to support students of the Hurley school by providing funding for reading interventions, improved school facilities and technology, and added art and music curriculums, and inclusive after-school programs.
Join us as we celebrate the Hurley School and raise funds to ensure the students and teachers are set up for success!

Through generous donations, NPHS provides our students with opportunities and ongoing programming for reading interventions, school facilities improvements, and classroom technology, as well as added art, music, chess, and swimming curriculums. This year, we aim to raise funds so we can expand our engaging and inclusive after-school programs for our students, such as basketball, running, robotics, songwriting, creative writing, and math support.
