Please join donate and or join my team http://www.firstgiving.com/team/297546, for the Walk the Walk for Homeless Children Saturday June 13th DCRs Sampas Pavillion Pawtucket Blvd. (Rte. 110) Lowell. Help me raise funds for My Father’s House in Chelmsford for teen moms and their children. They operate on grants and individual donations alone since they are a Faith based Non-profit and do not receive government funding. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO OTHERS. THANK YOU!

This is from Janelle “I came to My Father’s House in 2009, after my family let me know I would be on my own because I was pregnant. My Father’s House gave me a place to sleep, a plan to prepare for, and overwhelming acceptance and support for my decision to keep my son. I had no idea how to care for a newborn, let alone how to build a life for him and myself. My Father’s House taught me all the basics, and all those not so basics. They showed me compassion in a time when I thought it was not deserved. Without My Father’s House, I would not be where I am, or who I am today. My Father’s House gave me the tools, the courage, even the lectures I needed at a time when my family turned their back. Caleb is five now, brilliant, loving. I am so grateful to have a successful career, shake off my mistakes and maintain the mindset to keep going, no matter how hard it gets. Why should you help? Because My Father’s House is there when no one else will be. Their staff goes above and beyond for these young women, who feel they have run out of options…and through patience and encouragement, show them all the ways they can keep going, even when they think they can’t. My Father’s House is such a unique experience, and how they support and love these kids, so selflessly, is unmatched”.

Children having children is a losing situation for everyone.
Without help, these kids don’t have much of a chance.
